Jason Whyte

Jason has more than 25 years in cybersecurity, leading high performing teams across organisations including Trustwave, Verizon and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and delivering outcome focused security programs for enterprises and government agencies in Australia and overseas. As Managing Director for Cythera in Australia, he is responsible for uniting Cythera, Seamless Intelligence and Phronesis Security into a single, sovereign cybersecurity partner, working closely with critical infrastructure, public sector and corporate leaders to strengthen operational resilience through human led, intelligence driven services delivered onshore.

He is particularly focused on helping organisations move beyond tool centric buying toward insight rich resilience, making better use of existing security data to support faster, clearer business decisions. Jason regularly engages with boards, executives and security leaders on data sovereignty, IT and OT convergence and practical compliance, providing pragmatic guidance that connects regulatory expectations with operational reality.
