Euan Prentice

Euan Prentice is an Executive Director at Bastion Security Group, a leading cyber security organisation across Australia and New Zealand, formed following Bastion’s acquisition of Cythera in late 2024.

Euan co‑founded Cythera in 2018 and built it into a leading mid‑market managed security services provider in Australia. Earlier, he co‑founded O2 Networks, scaling it to more than 100 staff prior to its acquisition by Telstra in 2014, before going on to lead Telstra’s acquisition of five other businesses and a team of over 600 people. Across a career of more than 30 years, he has built high‑performing businesses and guided organisations through complex technology challenges, always anchored in commercial outcomes.

Outside of work, Euan is an avid traveller, having visited nearly 80 countries to date, with Turkmenistan among the craziest places and Norway a perennial favourite.
