Dr Christopher Bolan is the Head of Product at Bastion Security Group, a leading cyber organisation across Australia and New Zealand, formed following Bastion’s merger with Seamless Intelligence in 2025.

With over 20 years of experience spanning the private and public sectors, Chris has established a reputation as a pioneer in the Australian cybersecurity industry. He has held senior cyber leadership roles in major organisations such as Bunnings and St John of God Healthcare and was instrumental in creating Western Australia’s first commercial Security Operations Centre. Having worked across continents—from the UK and Asia to Africa and the Middle East—Chris brings a global perspective and depth to his work. Under his guidance, Seamless Intelligence has become an award-winning innovator in cyber operations and a recognised top employer and performer in the industry.

As a co-founder of Seamless Intelligence, based in Perth and a client base that includes some of Australia’s most prominent organisations, his contributions to the industry have earned him numerous accolades, including induction into the ECU Alumni Hall of Fame, Fellowship of the Australian Information Security Association, and multiple Cyber Security Professional of the Year awards.

He played a key role in developing one of the country’s first dedicated cyber security degrees at Edith Cowan University and continues to shape the future of cyber education through his leadership roles on advisory boards at South Metropolitan TAFE, Murdoch, and Curtin University.
