Bill Robinson

With over 26 years of experience protecting and recovering businesses from cyber attacks, Bill operates comfortably at both board and technical level. Engaging directly with C Suite and board members, he brings a proven ability to translate complex technical risk into language that resonates with executive and non executive stakeholders alike, aligning security initiatives with broader organisational goals.

A significant portion of Bill's career has been spent in the technical discipline of Penetration Testing, giving him a firsthand understanding of where security controls genuinely fail. This insight is paired with traditional Governance, Risk and Compliance practice to help organisations prioritise and remediate risk in a realistic, achievable sequence. Having worked across both regulatory and agile operating environments, he is skilled at balancing the discipline required by compliance frameworks with the flexibility needed by fast moving DevOps organisations. Drawing on experience from both Red Team offensive engagements and Blue Team defensive operations, he brings genuine Purple Team capability, a rare blend of attacker mindset and defender discipline.

Outside of work, Bill brings the same appetite for calculated risk to his personal pursuits. As a technical scuba instructor specialising in deep wreck discovery and exploration, an ultra marathon runner, kite surfer, and former flying trapeze student at circus school, he understands risk management from every angle.
